Dr. Christian Wagner is principal of Bioscience Valuation and works in the company’s German office. For more than six years, Christian has been supporting clients in all aspects of market forecasting, product and portfolio valuation, and deal term structuring for licensing agreements.
Since the beginning of his professional career, Christian has been dedicated to the optimization of the interaction between science and economy. At AnalytiCon AG in Potsdam (Germany), Christian was responsible for the project management of drug discovery projects, including the negotiation of licensing agreements with biotech/pharma companies and universities and the co-ordination of all external collaborations. As International Business Development Manager at Biotest AG in Frankfurt, he gained additional experience in the financial evaluation of licensing opportunities and the implementation of licensing agreements in the framework of an international pharmaceutical company. He was also responsible for all market research activities of Biotest Pharma GmbH.
Christian studied biology in Kaiserslautern (Germany) with a focus on microbiology and biotechnology and received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Biotechnology. He was educated in corporate finance at INSEAD (France). Christian is a member of the Licensing Executive Society and the Pharma-Lizenz-Club Deutschland.
