Both project and market analyses leverage the knowledge of a client's experts. We may also conduct primary market research and take advantage of our independent experts network. Comprehensive research is a prerequisite for good estimates of potential sales figures, success probabilities and costs.
Individual technology, indication and product-specific adjustments as a consequence of estimates provided by experts in the fields are essential to enrich and fine-tune benchmark figures. To this end, we have built and are continuously expanding a network of internationally renowned scientists, MDs and analysts. On the technical side we employ a number of mathematical and statistical methods. Probability distributions instead of single point estimates are the best approach to account for uncertain variables such as price or market penetration.
Sensitivity analysis illustrates how the uncertainty of particular assumptions affects the valuation. This is complemented by Monte Carlo simulations which show the impact of all uncertain variables moving at random. If uncertain variables are defined as probability distributions, simulation software generates frequency histograms, probability plots and other statistical data.
